Who is Sarah Pritchard?

“That’s a cup of hot chocolate up there because I’m a fully fledged chocoholic.”

This is my logo. I’m an old-fashioned girl and I love old things. I found an old book illustration and I adapted it to make my business logo. So, when you see that logo, you will know that it’s something to do with me.

Mark Twain

That is me. When everyone is herding in one direction, I step back, let them run past, and then walk in a different direction. My name is Sarah Pritchard. I am the mother of seven and I work from home so that I can take care of my family.

I am a free spirit and don’t like working for someone else, with all the limitations and rules that entails. I’m my own boss. When my family needs me, I can drop what I’m working on with no fear of getting the sack. My daddy described me as the black sheep of the family, but he had a twinkle in his eye when he said it. At university, I was jokingly described as a rebel by one of my professors. What both men meant was that I don’t just ’do’ because that is what you do. I dance to my own tune and I ask why. If I don’t like the answer, then I don’t do. This gets me into trouble sometimes. LOL

We were talking of princesses and queens and my daughter Isabelle told me: “T’es la Reine du Monde” (You are the Queen of the World.) I was warmed to the heart with this declaration. By the way, it’s not unusual for my children to talk to me in French. In fact, they mostly talk to me in French and I usually answer in English, so that they continue to learn both languages and the five older ones didn’t lose their mother tongue.

I participate in drama activities, writing, acting, producing, and directing. At the time of writing, I am working on two pieces that have been requested, a sketch and a musical piece. They will both be in English and French. I’m doing a genealogy diploma. I think it important to know where we came from. It can give us an insight into the future and the way to go.

Writing is my passion, along with being creative. I have a love of books and intend to produce a host of online and off-line versions, as well as publishing articles and so on…

I have produced stories and non-fiction oeuvres ever since I could write. As a child I made hand written books with cloth and embroidered covers. Here are a couple of examples:

Two of the books I made as a child

They have got rather “weather beaten “ in places, but they are over 40 years old after all. I made them when I was about nine or 10 years old. I hope I don’t look that weather beaten! The white material that was used for the book on Japan, was some of the leftover material from my sister’s wedding dress. I go through life collecting things that I think will come in useful later.

As I am a teacher at heart, as well as by profession, the books or articles will be mainly “how to’s”, but there will be other types of books, fiction and non-fiction, covering a range of subjects. I will be creating e-books as well as hardcopy books or the like. I love gaining knowledge and I also love sharing that knowledge with others to help them on their way.

I let the angels guide me.

Find yourself and be yourself. That is what Angel Cuddle Publishing is all about.

I’m developing my writing experience, firstly with ghostwriting. This helps to pay the bills while I’m developing my PLR store and Internet Marketing business. I will be bringing you useful tips and information, as well as sharing my Internet marketing journey as I progress in affiliate marketing. I have had some success in this area and have now set myself some high-level goals. Care to join me on this journey?

“Make no little plans. They have no magic to stir men’s blood.”

Daniel Burnham

You know, I put off getting a computer for as long as I could. I love writing, I mean physically writing with a pen and scribbling down my thoughts on paper (terribly old-fashioned, I know). At first I couldn’t see how the Internet would be a positive thing for me. I was probably also a bit frightened of it, if I’m truthful. My children needed a computer to be able to do their school work, so we got one. Soon they were complaining that they couldn’t get on the computer because “Mummy is on there again! “ Mummy was learning and embracing desktop and online publishing and all its wonders. I began with a free site for our gîte holiday accommodation in the sunny south of France and I just went from there.

I want this blog to be a friendly, but informative place for you to come to for solid and ethical business building. I don’t pretend and I expect others to treat me in the same way. I’m honest. This is the best policy, even though it hurts sometimes. I’m a perfectionist. There is good and bad with this trait. It means that I’m never satisfied and it can stop me from doing things. But what it means for you is that I will do my very best in providing you with a service.

I don’t pretend to be an expert in all to do with writing for cash, but I do have knowledge to pass on and as my knowledge increases I will share it with you. For now, I just want to share this definition of expert with you. I read it online recently and thought it rather amusing:

X = unknown quantity

Spurt = a drip under pressure

Enough said!

I love travelling, sightseeing and exploring new places. Recently, I visited Bordeaux in south-west France. When I visit somewhere, I take lots of photographs. I take the usual scenes and landscapes and so on, but I also like to take photographs from different angles and different points of view and perspectives. At the Place des Quinconces, in Bordeaux there is the beautiful Fontaine des Girondins, at the foot of the Monument aux Girondins.

I took the usual photographs from a distance and close up, of the monument and the fountain. The fountain has beautiful nautical horses and statues and cherubs, all made out of metal. While I was there taking photographs, the sun was shining brightly and was very hot. I was convinced that a spectrum would appear very soon, what with the bright sunshine and all that water spraying. I waited and waited and finally the spectrum appeared. I poised my camera, whilst hanging over the side of the balustrade, and oh no, it refused to take the photograph and declared that the batteries were exhausted. Woe was me! I thought that I had missed my chance of taking some shots of the spectrum. I hurriedly changed the batteries and took a couple of photographs. The spectrum immediately disappeared again. The angels were with me.

Here are some of the photographs that I took:

And here is the spectrum that I patiently waited for:

I hope you have enjoyed meeting me and learning a bit of who I am, and I hope to see you back here sometime soon.
